EcoStitch™ upgraded with innovative features

Valco Melton’s EcoStitch™ melters are now even more intelligent and versatile, and can easily be installed on existing lines with tight space requirements.

The recent upgrade integrates Industry 4.0 features such as Ethernet IP communication, digital pressure control, on-screen adhesive usage data and latest-generation OEM solutions.

EcoStitch™ melters do not require compressed air and use precision gear pumps to deliver adhesive in a constant, reliable and repeatable fashion.

To meet all application requirements, the systems have 4 pump size options and 8 possible hose/gun connections.

One innovative feature is digital closed loop pressure control, an industry first that allows monitoring and adjustment to be performed according to line speed without the need for additional components.

All units monitor and measure the amount of hot melt adhesive being pumped through the system on a daily, hourly or yearly basis and transfer the information to the operator via a convenient HMI.

Ethernet IP Communication is available on all EcoStitch™ melters that plug into the existing PLC, making for an integrated solution capable of adjusting pressure and fully controlling the melting and pumping systems.
