Flexo Cylinders: more consistency and control

The Flexo (R)evolution project launched by the Apex Group of Companies will be explained and "demonstrated” at Converflex

At the fair the Dutch multinational will be presenting the Apex GTT (Genetic Transfer Technology) cylinders, designed to provide a tool able to guarantee flexo printers new and higher levels of standardization, printability, reduced downtime and greater profitability.
These cylinders are made with an ultra-resistant ceramic hybrid and with the use of the  constant emission laser engraving for the creation of the open slide channels. With the GTT patent leading edge operators have been able to experience the benefits of quality and efficiency that result from these characteristics, and that fear no comparison with the best offset and gravure printing. This is acknowledged by the eloquent work samples produced with Pantone® full color simulation, printed with superdefined dot formation, intelligent software and Apex GTT, available at the Converflex stand.
• In addition to the GTT Apex presents its renowned UltraCell anilox, made of durable and wear resistant ceramics and using UltraMelt laser engraving method. These cylinders provide an optimal ink release for any specific type of engraving: trielicoidal and channellox with positive dot formation, hexagonal cell and elongated shape.
