More access and safety
Global specialist in energy and automation management, Schneider Electric offers OEMs in all sectors an innovative range of components and architectures, focusing on three areas of application: energy efficiency and sustainability, availability and performance of the assets.
Among the innovations dedicated to the packaging world, the company presented the evolution of architecture PacDrive 3, enriched with new connectivity and security/safety functions, thanks to the introduction of high-performance components.
In support of robotics, the new LMC Pro2 controllers have been introduced that can handle up to 130 servo axes, comprising innovative C2C (Controller to Controller) function.
The latter uses Sercos communication to create a complete Ethernet transparency and allow for real-time and deterministic communication of the entire production line, connecting a master controller with up to 20 slaves. To improve safety, however, the new drives Lexium 62 servo drive and the safety modules for the Lexium 62 ILM integrated servo motors, integrate stsandard safety communications via Sercos protocol, offering a full range of functions.
