New standards BTG at interpack 2017

From May 4 to 10 2017 interpack visitors at the Cama stand will be able to experience in person  the very last technological innovations made as standard on the full range of Break-Through Generation (BTG) systems.

The structural features of these machines marks a milestone in R&D: higher hygiene standard; open profile; safe «Easy Entry» and ergonomics; flexible frame and reduced footprint; energy saving engineering; fool-proof sizeparts recognition.
In particular, Cama Group will exhibit two innovative BTG systems.

IF318 Fully Robotized Monoblock Loading Unit is a “pitch-less” integrated platform for forming/loading/closing of food and non-food products into paperboard or corrugated carton or case.
Working with a given product infeed capacity, it allows to change the number, and so the pitch, of boxes handled at each of the 3 robotic stations, each one de-coupled from the other ones, thanks to the independent electronic movers. Moreover, the innovative variable box handling device allows automatic changeover for all required carton/case size along the track, notwithstanding their shape and size, thereby making size changing useless.

IG Complete Robotic Line packs flowpacks in multi-flavour and multi-layer different collations. Shown with agreement by Cama’s Customer, a global multi-national leader in its sector, the system comprises of two robotic units in line.
The infeed products come in primary packages (flowpacks) on two lanes, one lane for each flavor. The dual-lane conveyor runs down to the center of the Cama IG270, where four Delta Triaflex robots pick the products, mix the different flavours in several different layers configurations and place them onto a special conveyor. This conveyor takes then the products - so collated in single-layers - to the following IG273 loading unit. Here, a 3-axis robot loads these products layers collations into empty trays, previously positioned by a Cama phasing unit. Loaded trays finally run on the conveyor up to the line outfeed point.
