Opportunities and innovations for logistics and supply chains

D.C.M. Srl possesses exclusive distribution rights for Italy for the packaging solutions of the German company Kraus, which now offers three proposals for packaging and order-fulfilment that pay particular attention to the question of sustainability.

Awaiting (at time of writing) the redefinition of the dates of the 26th of the Lazise (VR) Global Summit Logistics & Supply Chain, traditional appointment with innovation in the logistics and supply chain sector, D.C.M. (Cologno Monzese, MI) anticipates the technological proposals of its longstanding partner Kraus.

Adopting one of the unique solutions in the field of dispensing products from the wide range Kraus brand products traded by D.C.M. means choosing high quality industrial products, which require little maintenance, enable easy adjustment and that offer high and constant productivity over time.

  • For the design of logistics warehouses through integrated solutions, D.C.M. offers an automated bagging solution with variable data printing that allows an increase in productivity of up to 200% compared to the traditional manual activity carried out by human operatives.
In particular, this solution also allows the use of 100% recyclable paper bags, fully conscious of how much the concept of sustainability and ecology has become a strategic aspect and an integral part of the processes and business choices both in terms of image and economic, precisely in order to develop products, solutions and processes that are functional,  high quality but also respectful of the environment.
  • A second interesting solution for contract  shipping companies or for those companies with their own internal warehouse, are the JoKer Warehouse friction feeders, which allow the vertical delivery of material inside packaging in a selective and customizable way.
The friction feeder consists of a special equipment package with which it is possible to feed a wider spectrum of products laid out on the flat, typical in mail-order sales or for personalized marketing and communication activities.
  • Lastly, a "buffered" print transfer module from a laser printer inserted on the line can be integrated. Print jobs with variable numbers of pages are individually accumulated and appropriately conveyed to the output station. On the latter the sheets are positioned and treated with the special ejection unit which deposits them in the shipping cartons.
