Rhombus shaped label application

For a major Belgian concern Altech Srl (Bareggio, MI) has created a system for the application of several pressure sensitive labels on plastic bins containing chemical products.

The peculiarity of the system lies in its ability to apply labels on the sides and on the front, applying up to two rhombus shaped labels on the front of the bins.
The system is based on the ALline E model, suitably sized to accommodate 4 ALritma labeling heads. In respect to the product forwarding direction, the first two heads apply two side labels, while the two subsequent heads apply the frontal labels.

The latter labeling heads are equipped with an application device with rotating arm, specially customised to enable the dispensing of the reel-fed labels of simple, square shaped label, subsequently rotated 45° to have them acquire the rhomboid shape typical of danger signs on chemical products.
