Servoactuators for AGVs
WITTENSTEIN motion control launches a new line of TPM+ servoactuators for running AGVs or automated guided vehicles.
Reliability, power density, energy saving and low noise are the advantages offered by these servoactuators used in running drive wheel units, in which the servo motor and reducer merge into a single flexible unit free of connecting elements, thus offering a greater rigidity of the entire drive train, to the advantage of dynamic performance. The high energy efficiency is the result of careful optimization of the main factors that affect the transmission of motion, such as the inertia ratio and rigidity of the kinematic chain.
The performance of the TPM+ cover a range between 1 and 15 kW, with an input voltage of 24/48V DC, while the maximum load for each drive wheel unit is up to 1700 kg. The versions will have either Vulkollan® wheels or fixed brackets and standalone control electronics (analog interface or via fieldbus). These are extremely versatile systems with a high degree of efficiency and controllability: features that enable companies to improve internal logistics by reducing the time and cost of moving goods or semi-finished products.
