Universal Pack at Interpack: innovation and sustainability in stick packs and sachets

Universal Pack, a manufacturer of VFFS machines and lines for single-dose packaging in sachets and stick packs, will be exhibiting at Interpack 2026 (Hall 16, Stand B42) with new solutions. Sustainability is a cornerstone: systems designed for compostable, recyclable and recycled laminates, supported by LCA analyses and development projects with film producers and research partners; materials are tested in-house to ensure quality and safety.

Highlights include a new stick-pack line with an integrated pick & place robot and high-performance cartoning, for free-flowing and non-free-flowing powders as well as complex sauces and liquids, featuring dual dosing into the same stick pack, format flexibility, and 100% in-line checkweighing with lot traceability. Alongside it, Theta for four-side-seal sachets, tested up to 150 cycles/min: its horizontal sealing system extends sealing time and keeps lower temperatures, enabling reliable handling of thicker films and sustainable laminates, and making it suitable for heat-sensitive ingredients. The display is completed by Alfa Flexi, a versatile stick-pack solution for co-packers and multi-product production, with fast, tool-less changeovers.

In its 60th anniversary year, Universal Pack confirms its global footprint: over 8,000 systems installed in 160 countries and continued investments in Industry 4.0.
