IlipBio is made from innovative biopolymers with a low environmental footprint such as polylactic acid (PLA), a bioplastic deriving from 100% renewable resources of plant origin (maize, cassava, sugar cane or beet). The range includes compostable and certified plates, glasses, cutlery, trays and catering packaging suitable for disposal in the organic waste stream, as well as heat-sealable and lidded plates and high-temperature resistant cups designed for use in the catering and modern food service sectors.
The Fibraware® line includes tableware and packaging for food and take-away use made of FSC-certified pulp, cardboard and wood. The range also includes cardboard cups with water dispersion coating in sizes from 80cc to 350cc. Plastic-film-free paper is biodegradable and recyclable and can be repulped as normal uncoated paper. Ilip has also expanded its line of innovative PE laminated Kraft cardboard containers for the Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) segment with the introduction of a wide range of greasy food resistant containers suitable for hot use.
