ItaliaImballaggio’s view of Cibus Tec 2023: World Jet

World Jet’s presence at Cibus Tec was characterised by a variety of industrial coding and labelling proposals, developed internally and in collaboration with qualified partners. Its owner and partner, Angelo Diciocia, tells us about the company.

«Three inkjet systems with high-definitions of respectively 140 mm, 70 mm and 18 mm, from which we control both of the heads with a single control panel, stand out among the machines exhibited in the show. In addition to these systems, there is the inkjet for small productions and a dispenser of pre-printed or print-and-apply labels for fresh food trays, which is half-way between a labelling machine and an inkjet printer.

There is also a solution dedicated to the printing of A5-size labels for pallets, able to interface with the management system used by the customer, thanks to the network card with which all our machined are equipped. World Jet has developed internally a dedicated software, able to dialogue directly with the most common management systems following a customized engineering logic which is the basis of our way of working. After the completion of tailor-made designs for our customers, in fact, we follow up with a development phase that implements the elements of innovation found in all our solutions, with shared machine bodies that are then personalised on request. It’s a strategy that allows us to always have a certain number of products ready for delivery in order to be able to respond dynamically to market demand.

Going back to the solutions, to close our review, there is the Citronix micro-character machine, which makes it possible to write batch and production expiry date data with a print speed of up to 400 pieces per minute. The encoder, in fact, makes it possible to adapt the print speed to the production speed, making it the ideal solution for product tracking in the food and beverage, pharmaceutical and cosmetics markets ».
