The new Markem-Imaje Bi-Jet 9712

Markem-Imaje® announces the innovative features of its new continuous inkjet printer model, the Bi-Jet 9712. At the heart of this evolution is the new M printhead, enabling manufacturers to achieve high precision and excellent print quality even on small-sized packaging. The solution is designed to meet the requirements of industries characterised by high-speed packaging operations, such as food, dairy and egg packaging, as well as electronics, pharmaceutical and cosmetics sectors.

Innovation and cost savings
The Bi-Jet 9712 coder represents a significant step forward in the coding landscape, allowing manufacturers to print complex and large-format codes, including 2D codes, using a single machine. This is combined with a reduction of capital expenditure (CAPEX) by up to 50% and the minimisation of ongoing operating expenses (OPEX). With the introduction of the new M printhead, the 9712 model now supports high-speed production while delivering clear, legible messages even on the most compact surfaces.

Bi-Jet 9712: key advantages
Among its benefits, the Bi-Jet 9712 stands out for delivering clear printing even on small packaging at high speeds, as well as enhancing line efficiency by integrating the existing features of the 9712 model. Optimised nozzle dimensions (48 µm) reduce consumable usage, enabling smaller dots, lowering costs and contributing to greater sustainability. The features of the 9700 series further enhance print process reliability and performance, boosting operator productivity while minimising downtime.
The introduction of the new printhead retains the advantages of the Markem-Imaje 9700 series continuous inkjet coders. These include market-leading service intervals, Intelli’Swap® for easier maintenance, the Intelli’Inks™ system for reduced VOC emissions and error-proof performance.
