Product overview. FRES-COOK is an innovative ready-meal packaging system that integrates, in a single solution, a stand-up pouch in multi-layer flexible laminate, pre-separated ingredients for the dish, a patented steam-activated opening system, and a supporting cardboard container.

The FRES-COOK pouch features a central V-shaped seal that keeps the two components of the meal separate (e.g., tomato soup and croutons, pasta or ravioli and sauce), preserving them optimally and for longer. Materials used. High-barrier multilayer flexible laminate by Goglio, made with alu-free structures suitable for microwave use. In line with current sustainability requirements, the laminate can also be provided in “designed for recycling” versions, using mono-material or polyolefin-based compositions.
