Brushless food dosing machine

For over fifty years, Karr Italiana Srl (Assago, Mi) has been designing and manufacturing volumetric dosing units and machines for thick and pasty liquid products.

Its most recent realization is a brushless motorized electronic control dosing system with 4 outputs, applicable to automatic packaging machines for trays or bags, suitable for the dosing of food products (various types of sauces  and condiments also with pieces).

With a dosing volume ranging from 100 to 1,100 ml, the system requires that all parts in contact with the product are made of stainless steel AISI 316L, while the structure is made of stainless steel AISI 304. The surfaces in contact with the product receive a finishing treatment in order to make the cleaning and sanitization operations more effective. 

The product loading hopper has a double jacket heating system with coil for liquid circulation and an agitator, and the entire dosing system is designed for connection to C.I.P. washing plants and is provided with a declaration of suitability for contact with food as required by European standards.

In order to guarantee an ever better service to its customers, Karr Italiana has recently expanded the surface of the plant with new offices and premises dedicated to design, construction and assembly. Space has also been given to the display of filling machines and dosing units, and a premises has also been created dedicated to machine testing.
