In modern production processes, handling, positioning and transport are often carried out with the aid of vacuum technology. Via suckers or suction pads, a depression is applied capable of picking up and supporting all kinds of objects: from those of a few grams (chocolates, electronic cards, etc..) up to heavier loads (sheets of glass or marble, household appliances and even entire containers). The GHS VSD + series pumps are augur rotary machines with latest generation oil gaskets. The special VSD (variable speed) technology enables the required pressure to be set, increasing and reducing the speed depending on the work phase,  all to the advantage of power optimisation. Indeed, in that the speed of the pump is directly proportional to the energy consumed, the lesser the latter, the more one saves. At the same time, a constant loadbearing is guaranteed under different pressures.

Compared to the fixed speed vane, liquid ring or blow pumps that do not conform to the variable demands of the process but that work with a motor power between 80 and 100%, without adapting to the running conditions, the GHS VSD+ guarantee an average energy saving of 50%. Compared to the  compressed air Venturi vacuum systems, the reduction in consumption is even bigger (up to 80%). Compared to dry, vane or augur pumps the GHS VSD+ pumps guarantee better performance, and are a lot quieter, cutting noise levels to less than half. On top of that, the air cooling  eliminates waste of water as well as disposal costs.

Their high aqueous vapour tolerance makes them ideal for moving frozen products. Of a compact design (the footprint is the size of a pallet), they can be stored outside the work sections without compromising their performance, eliminating the problems that derive from heat generation and the noise of the pick-up robots, all to the advantage of the cleanliness and the livability of the work environment.
Lastly, GHS VSD+ is a plug&play solution: fitted with a series of carters, integrated air filters and Elektronikon PLC controllers, and does not require supporting frames nor dedicated electrical panels.
