Premium materials at Ipack-Ima and Plast

Under the auspices of the Innovation Alliance, Ipack-Ima and Plast (Fiera Milano, 29 May -1 June 2018) offer new visions on smart packaging and materials, in partnership with Material ConneXion Italia.

Innovative materials produced and made functional for the premium goods market are the focus of Innovative Material Solutions 2018, the new “satellite show” of Ipack-Ima and Plast 2018 organized in partnership with Material ConneXion Italia in order to offer a panoramic view of raw materials, semi-processed goods and components for products and packaging with high added value, as well as innovative containers.
In order to meet the needs of operators and better serve the various relevant product types, the event will be divided into two sections at the Plast and Ipack-Ima pavilions in the center of the Rho-Pero fair district: Ipack-Mat and Plast-Mat.

The first will host advanced packaging solutions with a specific focus on anti-counterfeiting, smart packaging and high added value and/or low environmental impact packaging. The second space will be dedicated to advanced plastic materials, with a strong orientation toward environmental sustainability and technical performance.
In addition to the exhibition space, Innovative Material Solutions will also include a group show in which all the concerns taking part in the initiative will display their most significant creations. Initiatives targeting concerns are also planned, offering and investigating advanced solutions and materials for the design and manufacture of products and their packaging.
