Delta robots: new for picking
To meet modern packaging requirements, ie the demand for an evermore automatic management of the end or beginning of the line, with loading/unloading and palletizing performed by automated systems, Sipro has developed its own range of Delta geometry robots with parallel axis kinematics for picking functions.
The Delta robot combines high speed performance and possibility for flexible applications, which combine the ease of installation and the simplicity of programming cycles. The solution using the robot for pick&place operations ensures precision in the execution and higher productivity compared to the normal use of manual labor.
The Sipro Delta Robot is therefore an ideal complement for pick&place assembly and handling routines. Through integration with the vision system - also integrated in the project by Sipro - objects of various shapes can be identified, this even on the fly. The interface programmability also enables the subsequent palletizing of the objects in different configurations.
The rapid pick&place, assembly and handling of the Sipro Delta Robot are easily adaptable to lightweight, small and medium-sized objects. The solution is successfully used in a whole host of production sectors such as food, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, assembly, metal parts, leather, palletizing and packaging in general.
