Change at the top of GS1 ITALY

In June, Marco Pedroni (current President of Coop Italia) was elected to the presidency of GS1 Italy | Indicod-Ecr, the Italian association which groups 35 thousand companies active in the manufacturing and distribution of consumer goods and that deals with the spread of identification and communication standards adopted worldwide.

He replaces Valerio Di Natale, in office since 2011.
Also renewed the Board of Governors of GS1 Italy | Indicod-Ecr, where the Vice Presidents will be Giuseppe Brambilla di Civesio (President of Carrefour Italy), Sami Kahale (Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Procter & Gamble Italy) and Antonio Posa (General Manager Kellogg’s Southern Europe).
