Fachpack 2016

Now firmly established among the major European expos, Fachpack (an annual fair organized by NürnbergMesse) will this year offer the same format responsible for its success: a complete exhibition offer that cuts across sectors to bring under one roof the entire supply chain of packaging and processing.
The product range represented includes materials, tools, auxiliary products and machinery for packaging; labeling and marking technologies; control and verification systems; printing, finishing and decoration techniques; and last but not least, logistics solutions and dedicated services.
In 2015, 44,000 professional operators visited, making contact with 1,565 exhibitors (32% of which international), finding concrete solutions to their business needs, in addition to inspiration, tips and a view of the entire spectrum of latest sector trends.
Indeed, one of the event’s strengths is an extensive program of side events, round table discussions and forums that enrich the commercial offer with informative contents and opportunities for meeting and gathering.
The highlights and scheduled events of the 2016 edition include:
- PackBox Forum. Now in its fourth edition, the forum will host presentations and discussion groups under the guidance of experts. Entry is free of charge and requires no registration.
- Corrugated Cardboard Forum 2016. Organized by the German corrugated cardboard manufacturers association (VDW), this meeting will provide information on innovations in this sector. Not to miss is the Innovationspreis Wellpappe 2016, awarding the year’s best packaging solutions.
- Special Show “Packaging Design”. Bayern Design offers a series of model creations to highlight the importance of good design, for the packaging industry, but also for end users. The focus will be on materials and brand communication in a sustainability context, with themed islands, presentations and individual consultations.

- Special Show “German Packaging Award”. Sponsored by the Federal Ministry of Economic Affairs and Energy, at the German Packaging Institute’s stand a ceremony will be held to present awards for the best packaging solutions (focus on new materials, design, technologies, application scenarios, machinery, software and market success stories).
- Theme area “Packaging in medical and pharmaceutical technology”. Reliability, ergonomics, usability, safety, communication, anti-tampering, dosing, product protection and that of active ingredients, application systems: these and other topics will be at the center of a space entirely dedicated to the pharmaceutical and medical sector.

BrauBeviale 2016
November 8-10, Nuremberg

After two successful editions and before taking leave for the usual year “out”, BrauBeviale 2016 (organized by NürnbergMesse) is among the most important events dedicated to the beverage industry and meeting point of European experts in the sector (the last edition was attended by around 1,100 exhibitors and over 37,000 visitors).
The product offer ranges along the entire production chain: raw materials, state-of-the-art technologies, creative marketing ideas, automation and IT systems, logistics solutions.
The great theme of the packaging is faced by showcasing solutions for filling containers (glass, cans, drums, barrels ...), auxiliary materials and products for packaging (labels, boxes and pallets, etc ...) and systems closure (mechanical stoppers, crown and screw caps, cork and many others).
Rich too the array of supporting programs, in which, as always, proven practices and innovations alternate: the tastings at Craft Beer Corner, the competition for the best beer, the BrauBeviale Forum -  moment of cultural exchange and training dedicated in particular to the world of beer, the PET@BrauBeviale thematic area that will host the international PETnology Europe conference...
Two international projects. NürnbergMesse is confirmed as the global benchmark for the beverage industry, transferring its expertise in the second edition of Beviale Moscow (28 February-2 March 2017) show dedicated to the Russian and Eastern European market.
In this regard we also mention the good start of the project Craft Beer China Conference & Exhibition (CBCE) which was held in Shanghai in May 2016.
