Antares Vision enters the Aim Italia market
Travagliato (BS), 18 April 2019. Antares Vision, a Brescia multinational operating in the field of visual inspection, tracking solutions and data management for the pharmaceutical sector, debuted today on Aim Italia, the segment dedicated to small and medium-sized businesses of Piazza Affari. The transaction was formalized thanks to the business combination transaction that took place last December with ALP.I, the SPAC promoted by Mediobanca, which had acquired about 12% of the Lombard company.
«With today's listing, Antares Vision presents itself as an extraordinary independent platform open to other Italian and international excellences in the sector that intend to participate in this project» said Stefano Rangone, Mediobanca's Central Director. «A longterm project, to which the listing is functional, which was able to attract leading international investors as well as a select group of industrial partners that Emidio Zorzella and Massimo Bonardi (the founders of Antares Vision, Ed.) had the foresight and the ability to attract towards their strategic design».
Zorzella, President and CEO of Antares Vision, commented with pride and satisfaction: «The company enters the stock market in the middle of an expansive phase, in Italy and abroad, which testifies to the validity of our vision, the effectiveness of the choices made so far and the appreciation of our products on the principal markets. The opening of capital to the market is a strategic step to continue the path begun in 2007 and support the industrial development plan».
ANTARES VISION, founded in 2007 by Emidio Zorzella and Massimo Bonardi, reported revenues of € 118.5 million (+ 26.1% compared to 2017), an EBITDA of € 33.3 million (+ 40.5% ), an EBIT of 32.4 million (+ 42.1%) and a net profit of 22.8 million (+ 41.6%).
