Green economy

Ecomondo, the international trade fair for material and energy recovery and sustainable development (Rimini, 9-12th November 2011), concluded its 16th edition with a 16.7% increase of visitors (75,980 in total) and 49% increase of foreign operators (7,754).
Organized by Rimini Fiera alongside Key Energy and Cooperambiente, the show was inaugurated with the 2nd International Forum on Energy and Environment sponsored by Conai, Legacoop, Legambiente, Regione Emilia Romagna and Rimini Fiera and planned by The European House - Ambrosetti. Theme of the meeting: "The Green Economy: opportunity to exit from the crisis". On this occasion the discussion centred on the changes taking place in the global energy scenario and sustainable energy development, destined to draw the entire global economy.
