EUROVETROCAP | Cosmopack 2022

Hall 18, Stand F/28 | Parigi, the dropper with low environmental impact witnesses the company's green commitment.

With the aim of reducing the environmental impact of cosmetic packaging, EUROVETROCAP is pursuing several strategies, including the integration of recycled material, the reduction of supply distances and packaging weight, and the conception of recycling-friendly items. The Paris dropper (the first prototypes were unveiled last year) is a fine illustration of what such combined strategies may lead to: a mono-material dropper, the functionality of which has been redesigned, and made up from two components only.

The first consists of a 24/410 cap, injected in two steps. While the satin-finish side is made from PP only, the flexible upper part includes a small percentage of elastomer, which guarantees the functionality of the whole. The second is a pipette, also injected in PP, the top disc of which allows for click-in assembly of the two components and creates the seal on the surface of the bottle neck.

The Parigi dropper is lighter than a traditional dropper, numbers fewer pieces, can integrate a high percentage of recycled material and is recyclable through regular domestic waste channels. EUROVETROCAP presents its most up-to-date version at Cosmopack 2022, together with a series of innovations, such as the new Tim lid (mono-material, gasket included), the Total Wood line of accessories (without insert) and our best-selling glass containers in a recycled version.
