Cibus Tec 2019

22-25 October, Fiere di Parma - A cohesive work team, a long-term vision to move from “event” to “global platform” that hosts technologies for all sectors of the food industry. And a partnership, that with Koelnmesse, that has generated an extraordinary teamship.

These are the ingredients of the success of Cibus Tec  which, with the October edition impending, “verges on the fully booked” and is preparing to welcome around 3,000 professional visitors from 70 countries to the Fiere di Parma premises. Compared to the previous edition, Italian and international exhibitors are on the up (+30%), as is the exhibition area (+25%). Thanks also to the support of ICE-Agency, the 1,300 companies present (there were 1,000 in 2016) will be able to draw on the largest Top Buyer program of all FoodTec fairs.

Keyword: Internationalization
For the 52nd edition, there will be 400 foreign brands from 25 nations, which will present the state of the art of Food & Beverage technology (+30% compared to 2016). Germany is among the countries most represented, followed by the Netherlands, Denmark, Switzerland and France.  Numerous holdings of companies from China, the USA and Turkey will also be taking part. Of the 40 thousand expected visitors, 25% will be from abroad.
Hence these are important results, in terms of internationalization, obtained also thanks to the strategic alliance with Koelnmesse which allows Cibus Tec as of 2016, to be part of the largest permanent world exhibition platform in the mechanical food sector: a virtuous circuit of over 11 thousand companies that includes Anuga, Cibus, ISM, Anuga FoodTec, Prosweets Cologne and twelve other events.

Global showcase
At the fair, technologies will be presented for all agri-food supply chains - fruit and vegetables, milk and derivates, meat and fish products, ready meals - with the addition of a new sector, that of bakery, cereal-derived, snacks and confectionery products.
A reminder also that for the first time in 80 years of the show’s history, an entire hall will be dedicated to the most innovative technological solutions for the beverage sector (milk, juice, water, soft drinks, beer, liquor and wine), represented by over 150 among the main Italian and international suppliers. With an area growth of 40% compared to the previous edition, a significant change in pace is also to be seen in the packaging sector, with a complete proposal for all types of packaging, primary and secondary, also covering end of the line and logistics.
Hence Cibus Tec will no longer be a showcase dedicated to food processing, but a complete technological “platform” for the sector’s supply chain, unique to the market.
«A success that gratifies us but that does not have us stop there» says Fabio Bettio, Brand Manager, who anticipates a future project «With our Koelnmesse partners we are in fact thinking about an initiative featuring the digitization of food machines».
