Hispack + Bta

Five exhibition halls of the Gran Via in Barcelona fair quarters will simultaneously host Hispack (International Packaging and Wrapping trade fair) and BTA (Food Technology), presenting a transversal and complete offer.

Over 100,000 sqm of gross floorspace for the two shows, Hispack and BTA, ready to welcome 1,400 brands, focusing on technologies and equipment for the food industry as well as packaging and logistics systems for both the food and non-food areas.
Prominent element of the imminent edition is its international nature. Exploiting the potential synergies between the two product offers, in fact, the organizers of both shows have promoted the Spanish event in the Mediterranean area, in Latin America, China, India, Saudi Arabia, Russia and Ukraine: the encounter between supply and demand will become more dynamic thanks to the large purchasing power expressed by buyers from growing economies.
Strengthened hence in their international dimension, they will feature among the first in Europe in 2012 as the only main event covering the sector. Of the 45,000 visitors expected in fact, about 8%, that is 3,600 professionals, will be from abroad.
There will also be an increase in foreign exhibitors: of the 1,400 visitors expected, 25% will be from abroad, especially from Turkey, Denmark and China.
In this context, the "Hosted Buyers" program has numerous trade missions scheduled: in an exclusive area - the International Business Centre - the foreign professional will be assisted in finding information on technologies and companies, as well as having the possibility to organize encounters with national and international companies, in order to be able to complete business opportunities.
Workshops will also be held to update on the packaging market in China, Mexico and Russia, with the aim of supporting the expansion of the companies interested in these markets.
