The result of the strategic collaboration between Ucima and Fiera Milano, Ipack Ima 2021 will once again be able to count on the synergies guaranteed by the Innovation Alliance which, in the Fiera Milano pavilions, will also meet the MEAT-TECH, Plast, Print4All and Intralogistica Italia trade fairs in conjunction with the event.

To support the at the same time specialized and transversal character of the event, the 2021 edition proposes the IPACKmat concept: in addition to the special area that will host innovative materials, premium packaging and sustainable packaging, the brand will be disseminated and enhanced appropriately within the exhibition spaces, guaranteeing a greater identity to all packaging materials at the fair.

All-around offer for food ...
Designed precisely to best represent the target markets to which the exhibition is aimed, the Business Communities of the coming edition have been enriched according to the needs of the visitors: nine related targets will facilitate the identification of technologies and materials, offering concrete opportunities to meet regular suppliers but also to offer new solutions applicable to all production processes.
The Pasta, Bakery & Milling community is confirmed to be the “core” sector of IPACK-IMA, with complete solutions for the production of dry, fresh and stuffed pasta, cous cous and milling.

… e nel non-food, “welcome back pharma”
In the non-food sector, the “new entry” of the 2021 edition will be the Pharma & Nutritional Business Community, a sector dedicated to innovation, in which Italian industry plays a leading role. According to Farmindustria data, in fact, Italy is the European leader in the production of medicinal products with a value of 32.2 billion euros, the highest growth in exports in the last ten years (+ 117%) and, above all, 3 billions of euros of investments of which 1.7 in R&D and 1.3 in production.
This new and interesting market segment is joined by the Beauty & Personal Care and Chemicals & Home Care communities.
The non-food offer completes the Industrial & Durable Goods sector, historically present at IPACK-IMA.

Even more global
Following the needs of an increasingly globalized industry, IPACK-IMA makes internationalization one of its priorities. Several promotional initiatives abroad and opportunities to meet carefully selected buyers, in collaboration with ICE-Agenzia have already been scheduled. The path towards 2021 is thus consolidating the platform as a unique opportunity for encounter between professionals and managers from all over the world, and not just on fair days. The “On the road to IPACK-IMA” program, already successfully launched with an event dedicated to Mexico, will involve operators from the Maghreb, MENA Region (Middle East and North Africa), Turkey, Russia and Eastern Europe.
