Pack Expo challenges Sandy

Packaging and processing professionals met in Chicago on 28th and 31st October, animating the Pack Expo International trade fair: more than 1.1 million sqm at McCormick Place, 1,965 exhibitors (up by 6 and 8% compared to the 2010 edition).

And despite the fact that  hurricane Sandy was playing havoc along the East Coast in those days, attendance was massive (45.300 visitors, + 3%): this should also be seen against the increase of international presences (+8%).
According to PMMI, the success is to be primarily attributed to the quality of products and services, a good prelude to the next event to be held in Las Vegas September 23rd to 25th 2013.
