Packaging Première 2017

The first edition of Packaging Première is “sold out”: the over 4,000 m2 of The Mall (Porta Nuova, Milan) will be hosting in May an exclusive show dedicated to luxury packaging and major international brands that want to entrust their products to containers capable of announcing that they are high end loudly and clearly.
89 carefully vetted exhibitors, representing 93 concerns, will show off the best and most innovative solutions the high end packaging supply chain has to offer. The response from potential visitors has also been very positive: nearly 2,000 managers plan to attend, representing the worlds of fashion, cosmetics, perfumes, jewelry and watches, as well as new gourmet sectors (haute confiserie and luxury wine & spirits) and that of experience (represented by creations for the hotel business), all major users of the products and services of the luxury packaging industry.
The event’s layout - elegant, refined and rational - is designed to encourage fruitful exchanges between visitors and exhibitors, carefully adapted to the fair offer put together by the organizers (O.P.S. Organizzazione Promozione Spazi), whose aim is to offer an exhaustive overview of the state of the art of exclusive packaging, from raw materials to finished products, and from accessories to extras and services.

In order to maximize the benefits of visiting the event, the organizers have also planned innovative updates that are sure to interest visitors, focusing on various cultural, aesthetic and technical topics. The planned conferences include: “Keep Me in Mind!” (seminar on the role of luxury packaging in brand creation, with the German market as a case study); “Material and immaterial dimensions of luxury consumption: the role of emotions and neuromarketing”; “Designing the rhythms and modes of luxury”; “Experiencing luxury: exlcusion that includes”; “Defining Luxury through Cultural Experiences: Design, Briefs, Assumptions and My Mother”.
