PCD+ADF
Parigi, 6-7 febbraio 2013
Cosmetic Packaging Design (PCD) and Aerosol Dispensing Forum (ADF) return, as every year, in early February, offering operators in all market sectors (starting from cosmetics, but not only) an agile and super specialised fair-convention, centred around two days of interactive conferences and workshops.
The event is organized by Oriex Espace Champerret in Paris, with a basic formula that favors the “content" of the offer over the staging (the stands are small and basic), and shows a strong growth trend, with a +38% of exhibitors at the time we are writing.
On display the most innovative proposals of the leading brands and the most dynamic companies in both sectors, generating synergies that multiply the interest, always lively and ever renewed, of the operators. Synergies also fuelled by the intense conference program, conceived as a concrete moment of updating on developments in technology, legislation and the market. We offer a brief preview.
PCD - Inaugurated by Pierre Ducastin, Packaging Innovation Directeur de L'Oréal, the first day of the PCD 2012 will be dedicated to bioplastics, to be examined in all their facets; issues concerning intellectual property and the relative instruments for protecting the same will also be broached, along with beauty product innovation and in particular the convergence of electronics-cosmetics.
Thursday, February 7th, however, the speakers will focus primarily on sensory and functional aspects of packaging and metal aids; techniques and creativity of finishing, with a window on the convergence of fashion, beauty and design, the new types and technologies of presentation at the salespoint, from PLV to the carry case; on the electronic control of design specifications (design, workflow etc.). Here too - and also at the ADF conferences - the speakers will be top managers and leading experts, representing the entire production-consumption chain of the sector.
ADF - The ADF conference offers an update on issues and the market of aerosols: a reality in dynamic development in a variety of market sectors, from hygiene and beauty to the pharmacy, food, decoration, DIY, painting, gardening and automotive sectors... The main conference sessions are devoted to key issues regarding quality and safety, starting with "sensitive" components; sealing technology, coatings and components at risk (starting with BPA), propellants and environment; plastic aerosols (regulation, technology, benefits etc); foam dispensing techniques and aids; lastly here too the subject of control and design electronics will be tackled.
Award - The entries for the innovation awards, promoted by both shows, must be received by Oriex by November 5th, 2012; participation is free of charge.
