Pharmapack Europe, Paris 11-12 February

The international packaging and administering systems fair-conference for pharmaceuticals was held in Paris on 11 and February 12, 2015 with 3,040 visitors and 372 exhibitors from 32 countries, including 79 new entries. This year witnessed the first time representation of Taiwan, Luxembourg and Slovenia, while the number of Italian and Spanish companies has increased significantly.

The event, organized by UBM Canon, has grown steadily and has a high degree of fidelity of exhibitors: this year more than 87%  confirmed their participation. Among the complementary events the Pharmapack Awards stand out, assigned as always at the fair for the three sections of “Health Products”, “Exhibitors Award” and “Voted by the Visitors.” In the Products section the innovation award went to Merck Serono for RebiSmart®; Teva Laboratories with its Easybox was chosen for its convenience of taking and handling; the Bucomax Wallet blister by Pierre Fabre Medicament was chosen for the optimisation of OTC management in the laboratory. The exhibitors prizes went, in order of importance, to the Safety Syringe System by Credence MedSystems, to Datapen by Biocorp and to the Tamper evident folding box by IGB Industrie Grafiche Bressan. The visitors award went to Stiplastics for its Press & Take.
