Pharmintech 2025 even more international

Tags

Pharmintech, the event for the LifeScience operators, brings together market leaders, key partnerships, and international buyers. Organised in conjunction with Ipack Ima 2025, the fair is scheduled to be held at the FieraMilano Rho exhibition centre from 27 to 30 May.

Focussing on all that is happening outside Italy, Pharmintech by Ipack Ima (held in partnership with Bologna Fiere) provides a comprehensive overview of the supply chain, with specific attention to packaging and processing for the pharmaceutical and cosmetic industries. Versatility across target markets and sectors has always been a feature of this international event, reflecting how Italian packaging machinery manufacturers export over 80% of their output to foreign markets, with a turnover totalling €9.5 billion, €7.5 billion of which is attributable to exports (data from UCIMA/MECS).

A window on the world

Internationalism forms the central theme of the event, at whose core lies a combination of meetings with key industry players, attendance by visitors and buyers from abroad, and participation by the all-important exhibitors.   These include a multitude of leading names in packaging and processing for pharmaceuticals and cosmetics and, more in general, businesses operating in the beauty and personal care market. High-quality firms such as MARCHESINI, OMAS TECNOSISTEMI, BERGAMI PACKAGING SOLUTIONS, CMI INDUSTRIES, OMAG, ATS, MARIN G. & C., DMC, and ITAIL will all be exhibiting, showcasing their finest technological solutions.

Teamwork for foreign buyers

In addition to major global players exhibiting at the fair, the event's international appeal is enhanced  by actions to capture the attention and encourage attendance by specialist foreign buyers, who are carefully selected by an internal team based on the Ipack Ima target markets. Efforts aimed at incoming professionals from abroad are boosted by our active partnership with the ITA  (Italian Trade Agency) in addition to a worldwide network of agents whose task is to attract key players interested in the technologies that will be showcased at the fair. The most prominent regions at the event include the European market (including Eastern Europe), the entire Mediterranean basin with particular attention to North Africa, and, of course, the East, the Far East, and the United States.

Key partnerships that add value

Networking also extends to the specialist aspect of the event, where  partnerships with prestigious names like AFI (Associazione Farmaceutici Industria) stand out in particular. Offering more than just sponsorship, AFI is also responsible for the technical and scientific coordination of the event's conferences and is supported by leading industry associations such as ADF, ASCCA, Aschimfarma, Assobiotec, Egualia, Ispe, PDA, Ucima and Farmindustria.
