Upakovka/Upak Italia 2015

Despite the delicate political and economic situation, 27 to 30 January last, at the SAO Expocenter in Moscow, the shows Upakovka/Upak Italia (processing and packaging) and interplastica (rubber-plastic) saw a lively participation of operators from all over the area of the CIS and neighboring countries.

Approximately 19,000 visitors and 950 exhibitors from 35 countries met at the Moscow event, organized in partnership by Messe Düsseldorf and Centrexpo. «Italy is the second largest supplier of technology to Russia, in terms of processing, packaging and converting, behind Germany - commented Lucia Lamonarca, Chief Operating Officer Ipack-Ima/Centrexpo Group - and in the first 11 months of 2014 Italian suppliers’ turnover put in +3.2% over the previous year. At this moment time, for Russian businessmen the main obstacle to investment is of a financial nature, but  interest is alive and projects are many». This was demonstrated by the positive response to the “Forum of the future - Russian market trends”, where a group of selected exhibitors showcased the state-of-the-art of technologies that meet current market demands for recovery and recycling of packaging and packaging materials. The next Upakovka/Upak Italia will take place in Moscow January 26 to 29, 2016, as ever held jointly along with interplastica.
