The "Coppa del Nonno" iconic cup becomes bio-based

The "Coppa del Nonno"  ice cream iconic brown cup is being transformed to reflect the brand’s environmental commitment. 

The "Coppa del Nonno"  ice cream iconic brown cup is being transformed to reflect the brand’s environmental commitment. From now on, the famous coffee ice (Nestlé)  will be packaged in eco-friendly plastic cups made from bio-based polypropylene supplied by the French multinational Total.

The packaging (100 million pieces in four years) will be produced by Gallarate-based company MPG Manifattura Plastica  under commission from the multinational Froneri (a joint venture between Nestlé and R&R Ice Cream).
