The four X’s of EXTRA(ordinary), Marchesini digital platform

Marchesini Group presents EXTRA, a new online platform that allows customers to enter the company remotely, participating in new streaming events. Once again, all the digital formats proposed are marked by the X in “Extraordinary”, which symbolises the Group’s extraordinary inventiveness and ability to respond to customer requests with personalised solutions.

After the extraordinary success of the X DAYS, the digital shows held last year to present Marchesini’s technological innovations in the absence of trade fairs, the Pianoro-based Group - global leader in the production of pharmaceutical packaging systems - has come up with a new initiative to encourage remote communication and interaction with its customers, and thus compensate for the continuing limitations imposed by the global health situation, which still prevents movement and close contact.

This is why EXTRA (marchesini.com/extra) has been created, an interactive digital platform which allows users to explore and get to know the range of Marchesini solutions “up close and personal”. After the official launch with an exclusive show live from the Teatro Comunale in Bologna, EXTRA - accessible after registration - has started to be populated with new digital events.

Three innovative tools offered by the platform

X SOLUTIONS. Short presentations aimed at illustrating the range of machines and lines that Marchesini Group is able to supply for each type of product, starting from process solutions and ending with the end of the line. Each content will be enriched by a contribution from SEA Vision, a partner specialised in vision systems. The first X SOLUTIONS is dedicated to technologies for filling, inspection, labeling and packaging of products in bottles, including vaccines. In the following months it will continue with other solutions for the pharmaceutical industry, such as, for example, syringes, inhalers and blisters.

X TALKS. Series of webinars related to each X SOLUTIONS, lasting half an hour, which will allow users to interact with the area manager of reference. The first one, live from the new multimedia studio realized in the headquarters of Pianoro (Bologna), will be dedicated to the new predictive maintenance technology.

X LIVE TOUR. Upon reservation from the platform, the exclusive tour inside all the production plants of the Group - a service already tested and appreciated by customers since the beginning of the pandemic - will allow to observe closely the machines in operation.

Finally, all X DAYS shows, pioneers of the Marchesini Group digital revolution inaugurated in May last year, are also available on EXTRA.
