Gerhard Schubert GmbH
Having closed 2016 on the up (turnover +7.5% in 2015 at 187.2 million euros), Gerhard Schubert GmbH’s expectations for the current year are high as well: the job situation is excellent thanks to the dynamism in of the company order intake, especially in the US and in the pharmaceutical sector.
The major German digital packaging machine manufacturer has therefore set itself the goal of achieving a turnover of 200 million euros, with an important investment program involving the Crailsheim facility, the R&D as well as the service sector. Since the start of serial production of the first wrapping machines without electrical cabinet in 2016, the company has achieved many successes and is focussing on the growth potential of primary packaging with the integration of processes into the tried and test TLM modular system. This includes new system components for filling cosmetics or coffee capsules and, above all, the new Flowmodul aggregate, which for the first time enables integrated, continuous flowpacking of sweets, cosmetic articles and pharmaceuticals, giving numerous benefits in terms of quality control, efficiency, bulk and flexibility
