Interroll shows further growth. In Italy too

In 2014 the Interroll Group closed with a consolidated turnover up 6% and an increase in orders of 10% (at a conservative estimate: Of the 6 sorters sold to Brazilian Post only the one to be delivered in 2015 has been considered).

Sizeable increases in turnover have been registered in all divisions of the multinational with Swiss origins: “Drives” (motors and drives for transport systems) + 5%, “Rollers” (conveyors) + 7.7%, “Conveyors & Sorter” + 12.1%; only the  “Pallet & Carton Flow” division has shown a slight drop, due to a large order already accounted for in the budget of 2013.
The group has grown well in the Americas and in EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa), where, however, the average increase of 3.5% conceals different rates region per region: better in Central and Southern Europe, including Italy, and slower in Northern Europe, where the company registered a situation of saturation in  internal logistics. Positive also the activities in Asia-Pacific.
In 2014 Interroll  made major strategic investments in support of longterm growth and profitability, including the strengthening of the sales force in China and the United States and above all - in terms of products - the development of the important modular conveyor platform. Very lively in terms of image and communication, Interroll has also renewed its sponsorship of the the prestigious independent Swiss racing circuit Formula 1 team Sauber.
