What it is. A small frisby contained in a recycled cardboard case becomes a promotional gadget, to be used to give a smile and a moment of conscious fun with a ”remote" game , emphasizing the sense of social responsibility. The case can also be reused as an object holder at home or in the office.
Materials. Second Life FSC 100% paper (havana color, 125 gr/sqm and 190 gr/sqm weights) for the box, created in collaboration with ICMA and L'Oreal Italia from the recovery of scraps of stock material from L'Oreal warehouses, regenerated and reprocessed; the support of the product is in recycled vegetable cardboard; a transparent acetate protective film obtained from cellulose in liquid reduction replaces plastic; very low migration digital printing inks (food compliant category); protein glues for packaging assembly; recycled PPL for the fresbee.
Product or target market. Promotional gadgets with educational and symbolic value.
Design and/or communication. Designed in collaboration with art director Paolo Proserpio, who worked alongside the Maggioni Type team on the concept and production, the object conveys a symbolic message, an invitation to lighten with a smile - the one printed on the freesby - the psychological burden of the difficult social situation.
Technology. Latest generation technologies in material recycling.
Sustainability. Every component of the packaging can be easily recycled: the freesby in the plastic fraction, the packaging in the paper stream.
