Master in Packaging at Parma

Enrolment for the first level Parma University Master in Packaging, 2016 edition, will close on December 18.

The only course of its kind in Italy, it is structured into twenty course units held by experienced lecturers and professionals: It offers graduates the opportunity to acquire a comprehensive knowledge of all packaging related problems, from technologies to design, from the study of materials to production processes and control and culminates with an internship with leading companies in the sector.
The person who successfully takes a Master in Packaging is able to fit into industrial concerns both in the manufacturing field as well as in terms of the workshop or laboratory, operating in working groups, following production processes, with the ability to innovate and optimize packaging products. He or she is a professional figure with insight regarding materials and the products to be packaged, their possible incompatibilities and resistance to chemicals; the figure is able to design packaging, also evaluating regulatory and economic issues, while showing ever greater attention to recycling and the environment.
The figure has also acquired notions of logistics, quality control, marketing, communication and related legislation.
The course, open to anyone holding a first level degree, lasts one year. Lessons will begin February 2016 should the minimum number of 8 participants be reached. Interesting too the cost of the course: 3,000 Euros, payable in two instalments.
