New Board for bioplastics

European Bioplastics, the association that represents the interests of bioplastics, confirms the growing importance of eco polymers in the European economy (the current rate of growth is about 20% per annum) and elects the new board with a two-year term.

The assembly of the end of June reconfirmed François de Bie (Corbion) to the presidency and designated Mariagiovanna Vetere (NatureWorks) and Stefano Facco (Novamont) Vice-Presidents of the Board of Directors. Peter Brunk (Biotec), a former member of the board, he was appointed treasurer, while Michael von Ketteler (BASF SE), Henri Colens (Braskem) and Christophe Rupp-Dahlem (Roquette) are “on their first lap”.
