ReLife Group reorganises its corporate structure

Italy’s first certified group operating in the circular economy, ReLife has officially announced the names of its four production units and declared itself ready to compete at international level.

ReLife Group, a major Italian player specialising in the production of sustainable packaging such as boxes and recycled film obtained from the collection and conversion of recyclable waste, has announced the renaming of its production units as part of a transition towards a more structured organisation.

The four new divisions are: ReLife Recycling, a company specialising in the collection and treatment of solid municipal and industrial waste, which includes Valfreddana, Usvardi, Ecolfer and Benassi; ReLife Paper Mill (formerly Cartiera Bosco Marengo), which produces cardboard and paperboard using paper-based secondary raw materials largely originating from the ReLife Recycling plants; ReLife Paper Packaging (which incorporates General Packaging), a company that produces corrugated cardboard sheets and boxes, mainly from recycled paper, and ReLife Plastic Packaging (formerly Plastipliver), a leader in the recycling of industrial and post-consumer waste which produces plastic bags and packaging using predominantly regenerated materials.

The reorganisation process marks the culmination of a growth project that included a series of acquisitions made in the second half of 2021.

As ReLife’s CEO Marco Benfante explains, “Today the Group presents itself to the market as a producer of sustainable packaging originating from the collection and processing of recyclable waste. It has set itself important goals such as reducing CO2 emissions, guaranteeing the maximum sustainability of its products and multiplying value for its customers, who are suppliers but above all partners in this circular economy.”

ReLife was founded in 2013 and now has a turnover of €250 million and 18 production sites in Liguria, Piedmont, Lombardy, Veneto and Tuscany.
