Sixty years of Varvel

In 2015 are coming the celebrations of the sixtieth of Varvel SpA foundation, a company specialized in design and manufacture of gearboxes and mechanical variable speed.

Six decades of history and of hard work not only to obtain results but also to build a network of business that has been able to grow and develop, creating jobs, partnerships with schools, universities and research centers, launching a program of internationalization that has never lost sight of the territory in which the company is located.
Innovation and technology, hence, but also people and humanitarian projects, in a mix of value and values that gave rise to a reality present today in more than 60 countries, on all five continents.
From the handmade pieces in the first seat in the historic centre of Bologna, Varvel today features  a complex that can boast 40,000 sq.m land of which 20,000  factories, and a group with five companies for about 200 employees.
The company is a
benchmark for the product quality and also for the great ability to customize and the kit-form assembly modularity combining efficiency and reliability, simplicity and high service level.

Technological developments
As ever research oriented, at Ipack Ima in particular, Varvel is focussing on a series of RG planetary gear reducers that are accurate, efficient and quiet.
Built according to ISO production standards,  implemented with the aid of structural analysis programs to check warping or stress, they have a one-piece tempered steel body featuring a one-piece broached ring, that can house 1 or 2 reduction stages.
