Total control of the printing process

At K Grafikontrol  exhibited its flagship products, offering itself internationally as a key supplier in the field of control systems for the printing industry. Its production program includes register control, web inspection (printed or other matter) and color controls for roto, flexo and web offset printing.

The latest achievements of packaging solutions for operators are mainly dedicated to web inspection for the detection of print defects (statistics and 100%) and in-line measurement of color.
• In this field, the Milanese company's flagship product is Grafikscan 3000, a system for 100% inspection of the defects, which performs a total control during the printing process, catalogs the entire range of defects detected and provides a real-time analysis of production. Grafikscan 3000 can also be equipped with optional modules (hw & sw) for the management of waste also in the processes of production subsequent to the printing (laminating and cutting), for the extraction of  flawed material from the reel.
• Grafikscan 2200 is instead a viewer with optical zoom, with a module for the inspection statistics for the control of the print quality. Through specific software like the “interactive register”, the “control of barcodes” and “color monitoring”, production waste and complaints from the end customer can be minimised.
• Lastly, the CR33-CR34 by Grafikontrol are controls for color register for gravure packaging machines, which operate stand-alone or integrated within the machine electronics. The new generation of optical fibers can read very muted colors on any substrate and can include search engine and fully automatic self-centering on the register marks.
