Cosmopack International Business Forum & Exhibition New York, 16-17 September 2015

The United States represents the largest market for beauty products, not only for its size and the significant projected growth rates for the next three years, but also because it has always anticipated the trends in taste and consumption patterns as they emerge in the rest of the world.

This is why Cosmopack (the premier international trade exhibition for the beauty supply chain organized by BolognaFiere Group) is back in New York, where it proposes the evolution of a project started up in 2014 and presented in the first edition of the International Business Forum & Exhibition.

From Symposium to Forum. Cosmopack dedicates its attention to the beauty supply chain, which for its 2015 edition in Bologna attracted the most important international companies: from contract manufacturing to the producers of machinery and technology, from companies focused on primary and secondary packaging to those specializing in raw materials.
The project launched in 2014 with the Cosmopack Symposium, which spotlighted in New York the excellence of the Italian and international supply chain, has developed into a Forum: a brand-new concept focused on B2B meetings, proposed as fundamental moment for the networking of the beauty business community all told.
Workshops, in-depth meetings and round-tables focused on the North American market enrich the content offer of the event, facilitating business opportunities and the development of new projects in the targeted sectors (make-up, skincare, nailcare, alcohol based products and personal care).

A direct link. Hence the event proposes an ideal connection with the major American retailers interested in developing cosmetics under their own brand, importers of packaging and machinery, the manufacturing industry, decision-makers and brand producers out to innovate.
The event is organized in collaboration with two key trade associations for the American beauty industry (PBA-Professional Beauty Association and ICMAD-Independent Cosmetics Manufacturers and Distributors), Cosmetica Italia and Polo Tecnologico della Cosmesi, which represent the Made in Italy beauty supply chain.

The companies appreciated. The expectations for the two New York days are high, also according to those who took part in the event in 2014. Such as Baralan, that will promote its Italian creativity at Cosmopack NY with the new Inkwell set for nail polish (ergonomic, it provides a better application of product).  As Jim Slowey, VP operations Baralan International SpA says,
one needs to exploit the change of “one on one” business encounters to the full and the networking that is hard to replicate. Also appreciated the format, that combines the customers and distributors to which highly customized products and services are to be presented in a single solution.
The undertaking also drew a positive comment from the founder and Head Director of Sin&Co Rome, Gabriel Balestra who remembers the  projects started up after the Cosmopack Symposium in 2014, event that, in his words, has facilitated the interaction between companies and producers in a highly professional environment.
