Danone awards Cristina

The fifth edition of Danone Supplier Awards, held in Barcelona, Spain, as ever saw the multinational food multinational award its best suppliers, Cristina The Transparent Packaging winning the coveted award for the best innovative idea.

2014 was a year of intense collaboration between the two companies, that led to the creation of a series of packaging items suitable for automatic packaging and intended for the Spanish market.
In particular, the packaging awarded is a cluster especially conceived and modified to ensure high performance on the existing Danone packaging lines. The Cristina team hence worked to create a packaging different to that used up to now by the multinational, with the objective of not modifying the systems but to facilitate change reducing costs and required time.
The award was collected by Maurizio Galimberti, sales director of the Varese (Bodio Lomnago) based company.

The company has been active for 45 years and due to the quality and production capacity offered has rightfully won a place for itself among  the international suppliers of transparent PET and PP packaging. In 2009 it obtained Brc-Iop certification, guarantee of hygiene and safety and prerequisite for being able to work with multinationals such as Danone. Scatolificio Cristina’s cartons, produced within special controlled areas, can in fact be used in direct contact with food products.
