Meat-Tech 2021 - 4-7 May 2021, Fiera Milano (Rho)

Vertical trade fair focusing on innovation in the world of meat and meat-based products Meat-Tech will be back for its third edition.

Following the success of the 2018 show, which together with the exhibition IPACK-IMA was attended by 74,000 visitors (including 25% international attendees), the show aims to reaffirm its position as a not-to-miss event that brings together the best of processing and packaging technologies for the sector with a strong international appeal, embracing the entire supply chain.

The focus points of the third edition
The third edition of the show will display an increasingly wide range of offerings: complete lines, increasingly smart and flexible machines, materials and ingredients capable of adapting to all needs while fully complying with the strictest health and safety standards, as well as interesting offerings for product traceability along the entire supply chain, and Industry 4.0 solutions.
Spotlights on the new trends and consumption demands(food specialities, ready-to-eat products such as pre-sliced meats and snacks and high-quality premium-price products) and on the current modes of packaging: single portions, skin packaging, freshness saving-, appealing-, manageable-, light and convenient packaging for transport and storage both in warehouses and in home refrigerators.
Further trends are driven by the world of health and wellness (such as technologies for “free-from” products that do not contain preservatives, lactose, GM ingredients, antibiotics, etc.) and sustainability.
Plenty of coverage will again be given to companies supplying solutions for fresh meat packaging and preservation, one of the most dynamic segments of the food industry, with the return of the two special areas MEAT+ Cold Chain Solution and MEAT& More.

* A reminder that the next edition of MEAT-TECH (organized by Ipack Ima Srl, a joint venture between Fiera Milano and Ucima), will again be able to count on the synergies guaranteed by the Innovation Alliance, which together with IPACK-IMA, will also concurrently feature the fairs Plast, Print4All, and Intralogistica Italia in the Fiera Milano pavilions.
