Pharmintech 2016, 13 - 15 April Bologna
New events and special initiatives for the coming edition of the triennial technological show, focussed on the pharmaceutical, parapharmaceutical, nutraceutical and cosmeceutical industry.
Pharmintech is organized by BolognaFiere in cooperation with Ucima, and is sponsored by the Italian Ministry of Economic Development and ICE - Agency for the promotion abroad and the internationalization of Italian companies. It is scheduled 13 to 15 April 2016, when an entire industry will meet in Bologna for Pharma Week (13-17 April), due to coincide with the 20th edition of Cosmofarma Exhibition.
What’s new
The Workroom. Follow close to the evolution of worldwide regulations and the innovation introduced by the new technologies, which are reshaping the future of the pharmaceutical supply chain. With this objective, Pharmintech has developed the project “The Workroom”; in practice, it is a demonstration area inside the fair, designed as a place to reflect on a “collaborative” model, which addresses new or already known issues: serialization, track & trace, cold chain visibility, personalized medicines, digital economy, emerging markets, hub controllers.
Trade visitors will have the opportunity to interact with technological solutions, represented thanks to partnerings with Pharmintech exhibitors. The Workroom wishes to show the future of the supply chain in a different persepctive, presenting the complexities and constraints, but aboveall the opportunities resulting from the changes taking place throughout the same: from factory processing to product distribution up to the pharmacy and data management. The themes will be further gone into via workshops, thematic sessions and live demos that will cover all the production and distribution phases along the chain.
IBP - International Buyer Program. For the first time, Pharmintech 2016 has a project specifically dedicated to international pharmaceutical, parapharmaceutical, nutraceutical and cosmeceutical industry operators.
The International Buyer Program will encourage meetings between buyers from the major areas of interest in the sector and exhibiting companies, facilitating concrete business opportunities.
The project has been developed in collaboration with the Ministry of Economic Development and the Italian Trade Agency (ITA) and built on the basis of the information garnered from the companies exhibiting at Pharmintech. In addition to the major European markets of Germany, France, UK, Spain and Switzerland, South Africa and Mediterranean countries (Algeria, Israel, Morocco, Turkey), Asia, in particular China, India and Vietnam, the Middle East with Iran and Lebanon, the US, Colombia and Russia will also be represented.
Pharmintech Observatory. A research project of great importance for the manufacturing sector will be held alongside the event: Pharmintech Observatory, which for the 2016 edition with the collaboration of the Ucima Research Department. Set up with the support of the leading pharmaceutical supply chain associations, the Pharmintech Observatory aims to profile the performance of the supplier industry via a painstaking quantitative analysis. Besides the economic analysis on the sector supply industry, for the first time a specifically drawn up report on the sub-contracting industry within Italian pharma will be presented, this along with a series of focuses on countries with high potential for the industry.
