A center to discover

Last 26 June, the Regular Assembly of the Polo Tecnologico della Cosmesi (Cosmetics Technology Center) was held in Crema, with an opening address by Vice President Massimo Mariani (Chromavis), standing in for President Matteo Moretti (Lumson), who had to be in the USA for pressing business matters.

The assembly focused on the topic of “Purchasing Units” presented by Marco Cicchetti (Omnicos). Numerous important guests spoke, starting with Dino Tavazzi (managing director Bologna Fiere Cosmoprof), who presented a wide array of proposed beauty fairs, and Maria Grazia Cappelli (secretary general of the Cremona Chamber of Commerce), who highlighted the synergies that could be established between the two entities.
The director of the Spallanzani Experimental Research Institute in Rivolta D’Adda, Marina Montedoro, together with Alex Severgnini (director of the microbiology and in-vitro testing division) discussed the advantages and services which the Institute supplies to the cosmetic sector, while Maurizio Veronelli, owner of ABCS Srl of Milan, presented his proposal for an exclusive training service to members of the Center, on the topic of “Color science for color technicians”.
The manager of the Italian branch of Gattefossé, Marco Castiglioni, illustrated the advances made in the creation, development, production and marketing of special ingredients and innovative formulas. Closing the the event, Manpower Group described its recruitment and targeted personnel selection services.
