Italian bioplastic for Expo

Bio4Expo.com is an online shopping site that manages orders and express delivery of “organic” plastic containers and dishware, for use in catering services during EXPO2015.

Once registered, exhibitors who wish to contribute to limiting the event’s environmental impact can order cutlery, teaspoons and espresso cups, cups for hot and cold drinks, cups and spoons for gelato, single portion formats for finger food, plates and bowls, paper tablecloths and bags for bread and sandwiches… and have them delivered right at their warehouses or stands set up at the fair.
Made from renewable raw materials and certified EN13432 compliant, these biodegradable and compostable products can be thrown out in the compost bin for industrial composting, significantly reducing the amount of unseparated waste headed for the landfill.

But Bio4Expo is not just for exhibitors: anyone who accesses the portal can find in-depth information on bioplastics, recycling, governing laws, the composting cycle, the Italian chemical industry and the circular economy, in addition to news and updates on bioplastics. Texts and data are available in Chinese, Italian, English, French, Spanish, German, Arabic and Hebrew.
