That is: sustainability goes trendy. Mktg Industry is the name of the new Italian start up that, only 8 months old, has won an Eco-Beauty Award as part of the competition “The Wall” in Cosmopack 2015.

The prize for Best Eco Design Packaging went to its PBB (Petite Boîte à Beauté), a new line of Compact Cases & Palettes for make-up made from 100% recycled cardboard, entirely designed, developed and manufactured in Italy.
The innovation of this primary packaging for cosmetics, which can enclose pressed powders, forged and cast products, is in the original choice to replace the traditional plastic with recycled paper, which gives the pack a casual yet sophisticated look, evoking a trendy vintage atmosphere.
Mktg Industry offers two lines of standard packaging: PBB Contemporary (compact design with magnetic opening/closure) and PBB Vogue (with cover), both available in the small, medium and palette sizes.
On the mark and witty too the communication strategy devised to present the product to the Cosmopack jury: a divertissement that offers three box module versions, the respective writings of of which jokingly deconstruct the focus of the competition: “eco - is - logical”, “logical - is - eco”, “is - ecological”.
