Sealed Air acquires digital printing pioneer Foxpak

The two companies will work jointly on smart packaging innovations and customer-centric digital printing solutions.

With the aim of accelerating its growth in Europe, Sealed Air (NYSE: SEE) has acquired Foxpak Flexibles, an Irish packaging solutions company recognised as a pioneer of digital printing on flexible packaging (decorated stand-up pouches for a range of markets including retail, pet food, seafood and snack food).

The acquisition took place through SEE Ventures, a company initiative focusing on investments in disruptive technologies and business models.

Foxpak will build on our digital packaging solutions where graphic design and digital printing are key areas of value creation,” said Sealed Air President and CEO Ted Doheny. “Together we will accelerate our digital future with innovations in smart packaging for leading brands around the world.”

Founded in 2001, Foxpak is based in Collon and employs a total of 33 people. It serves customers in more than 30 countries.
