Innovative and global: coding according to Videojet
Having led the global industrial coding systems market for years, Videojet is distinguished by its highly innovative products. Ipack-Ima therefore represents an invaluable opportunity to educate a wider audience on the advantages of its complete and completely revamped range of coding, marking and labeling solutions.
The key topics of the 24th Ipack-Ima edition (technological innovation and internationality) find full expression in the Videojet philosophy as the company sets up its vast exhibition space within the fair.
A word from Videojet
Cristian Bosi, Country Manager Videojet Italia: «These values are perfectly in line with with our company mission and vision. In addition to distributing our printers in 135 countries and boasting 345,000 units installed globally, we have always been committed to designing advanced coding and marking solutions. That’s how over 10 billion products are coded using our systems around the world every day».
Mario Belloni, OEM Sales Manager Europe, adds: «Over 100 OEMs have decided to present Videojet systems at international fairs, integrated with their own packaging lines. This attests the confidence that OEMs have in the level of innovation offered by our products - high-tech enough to enhance the efficiency of their production lines and to be a decisive factor in their success».
Talking about innovation, Videojet will present a wide range of products that has been completely updated over the past year at the fair. Videojet 1860
Continuous InkJet (CIJ) printer
Coding solutions
• Continuous InkJet Technology (CIJ) is reaffirmed as Videojet’s core business. In fact, Videojet 1860 will be presented at the fair, the first intelligent press equipped with predictive technology that signals potential issues before they arise. The solution features advanced connectivity options, extremely simple interaction and, just like all recent Videojet models, offers the possibility of benefiting from VideojetConnectTM Remote Service, a remote assistance service that intervenes to resolve malfunctions in real time with the simple push of a button. Videojet 1860 is capable of evolving over time thanks to simple optional add-on software modules, which could adapt the printer to customer’s needs at any time.
Videojet 3640
CO2 laser marking system
• Also on show will be 10, 30 and 60 W CO2 lasers systems (Videojet 3140, 3340 and 3640), able to guarantee superior performance thanks to the widest marking fields on the market, as well as 10, 20, 50 and 100 W fiber laser systems (Videojet 7220, 7320, 7510 and 7610), created for coding on the most troublesome substrates. Many of these systems are now available with the advanced TCS+ controller, which simplifies operations, making it possible to remotely control markers using any device.
Videojet 7610
Fiber laser marking system
• Also featured among recent launches are the new Thermal InkJet solutions (TIJ), the Wolke m610 advanced, m610 oem and Videojet 8520, which guarantee greater speed and print quality than ever (thanks to special cartridges) and represent a remarkable leap forward for serialized coding solutions and track & trace applications, especially in the pharmaceutical industry.
Videojet DataFlex 6530
Thermal Transfer Overprinter (TTO)
• For printing on film, including flexible films, the Thermal Transfer Overprinters (TTO) Videojet DataFlex 6530 and 6330, also on show, are the only on the market to feature exclusive iAssureTM technology, which controls in real time the quality of printed codes, preventing wastage, discarded prints and process repeats.
Videojet 2351/2361
Large Character Markers (LCM)
• There will also be no lack of advanced coding solutions for end-of-line and secondary packaging. In addition to the Print & Apply Labeler (LPA) Videojet 9550 (equipped with Intelligent Motion™ technology to eliminate jamming and able to satisfy every need thanks to the possibility of selecting from among four different applicator types), new Large Character inkjet Markers (LCM) Videojet 2351 and 2361 will also be presented. These systems have been created in order to code directly on the boxes, guaranteeing high print resolution, cleaner lines and minimized maintenance.
