Ferrero France celebrates 60th anniversary and announces major investments
The Ferrero Group (€11.4 billion revenue in 2019) is celebrating sixty years of business in France with the announcement of €42 million investments.
This will include €30 million for the construction of a 36,000 square metre logistics depot in Criquebeuf-sur-Seine (Normandy), which will combine all the distribution activities currently split between Normandy and Aube.
The modern facility will be ready by the end of 2021 and will be equipped with solar panels capable of providing up to 15% of its total annual electricity requirements.
The other €12 million included in the package will be used to modernise the main plant in Villers-Écalles (also in Normandy) and the Mont-Saint-Aignan site.
Since 2012, the Alba, Italy-based multinational has invested around €135 million in France, where it has 1,400 employees, several administrative offices and two production facilities: the original site in Normandy and a second factory acquired in 2016 when it purchased the Delacre biscuit brand..
